theHealth is a growing international, peer-reviewed, open access journal quarterly published by LIPhealth. It is managed by the editorial board and the editorial office.
theHealth welcomes research manuscripts and review articles related to any of the disciplines of health sciences and public health. It also considers health-related opinion, comments, report, etc for the magazine section.
Aims & Scope
theHealth is started with the vision to promote dissemination of scientific knowledge in developing countries and to present research to the developed world. However, theHealth encourage submissions from developed countries as well. The publication aims to provide the latest updates to health professionals and the general public to groom their knowledge accordingly. The notion "theHealth" has undergone several phases of incubation for a decade before hatching. During that period, it faced various stages of debates and discussions before maturation.
To cover a wide range of health topics, theHealth do not have specific theme and hence, it welcomes research manuscripts and review articles related to any disciplines of health sciences and public health. It also considers health-related opinion, comments, report, etc for the magazine section.
Plagiarism Policy
The important part of research and development is to share the results with other researchers working in the same or relevant field. This can be done by publishing the results in a peer-reviewed journal. While submitting the manuscript to theHealth, the authors should be the copyright owner of the respective material and should not copy paste anything from someone else's work. If, in certain situations, it is important to mention something (for example, results for comparison), the orginal work should be attributed in the form of citation. Likewise, it is the responsibility of the authors to assure that they are not reporting fake or fraudulent results under their authorship.
1. If doubted, the manuscripts submitted to theHealth journal can be sent to medical editors who are not associated with theHealth or other international agencies for authentication of originality.
2. Identification of plagiarism to any article under process in theHealth will lead to the explanation from authors. In case of unsatisfactory response from authors, the article will be rejected.
3. For the plagiarised articles which might evade the peer-review process will be retracted temporarily from publication. The authors will be asked to explain their point of view. In case of unsatisfactory response, the article will be permanently retracted. The notice of such retraction will be published online immediately and in the next issue of the printed version of theHealth.
theHealth follows the guidelines of International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) for all kind of plagiarism.
